Local Music: Years End – Beacon

Martinsburg, WV may not be a hub for new local music being produced ever year, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t great music there.

Local band Years End is making moves to the top.

Out July 16th!

Their brand new Single “Little Elliot Drive” off of their upcoming EP Beacon was just released yesterday and it doesn’t disappoint.

Years End – Little Elliot Drive

Starting immediately with driving guitar from Nick Frendzel, the song starts off strong.  It continues with a powerful beat from Eddie Bleiberg, right before hearing Sam Freeman’s howl to continue to kick the song off right.
Joe Leiter’s clean vocals really round out the song and add to the overall feeling.
The song has a great mix of hard hitting guitar, strong beats, screams, and anthemic clean vocals.

You can’t help but sing along with Leiter when he sings,
“I’m not saying that I’ve gotten any better
but after last year
I’m waiting for a better day to dawn.”

Just when you think the song can’t get any better, a brutal break down at 2:05 and some wicked guest vocals from Jon Haar takes the song to another level.

Keep an eye out for these guys and make sure you Pre-Order there album Beacon, which hits July 16th, here:
