New Hotness: I Can Make a Mess and The Almost

Today, June 11th, is a great day.
It is the two year anniversary of my beautiful Bride Brandi and I getting married.

But it will also be the day that The Almost and I Can Make a Mess come out with new albums.

Aaron Gillespie is a man on a mission.  That is clear from his days in Underoath, to his worship album “Anthem Song,”  and to his work with The Almost.
His drive and passion is evident in everything he does, and he has been a great role model in my life.

I have loved both of The Almost’s last two albums Southern Weather and Monster, Monster, but there is just something about Fear Inside Our Bones that I am so excited for.

The album was recorded live over a five day period in the studio, and you can feel it.
The realness of the southern rock pours about an incredibly gritty sound that is so refreshing.

Ace Enders is one talented man that never ceases to amaze me.
You may know him from a little band called The Early November (with their amazing In Currents album out now) or Ace Enders and a Million Different People.

He is now releasing his new album Enola with his project known I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody’s Business, or I Can Make a Mess for short.

I just received my copy a day early and let me tell you this album is amazing!
Mixing elements of folk, indie, and experimental rock, you will get an incredible experience with this album.
